About me

I received my PhD in Philosophy from the University of California at Santa Barbara in 2022.

My primary area of interest is in metaphysics, especially applied metaphysics. In my dissertation, conducted under the supervision of Nathan Salmon, I examined the metaphysics of organized social groups like sports teams and musical groups.

Before starting the PhD program at UC Santa Barbara, I was an adjunct instructor in the Philosophy Department at Red Rocks Community College. Prior to that, I received my MA at the University of Colorado at Boulder.

When I am not doing philosophy, I am likely either reminiscing about Bear (left), playing with Ube (middle), or climbing rocks (right).
